Andy Warhol once said, "Beauty is shoe, shoe beauty." He knew exactly the sentiments of women all over the world. Before the Campbell Soup Cans and Marilyn Monroes, Warhol created shoe illustration ads for
I. Miller, a shoe store on 5th Ave. during the 1950s. He epitomized the whimsical and glamorous in all things shoe.
Andy Warhol, My Shoe Is Your Shoe, 1955, hand colored off-set lithograph, New York.

Three decades later, Warhol revisited his subject of shoes with
an added sparkle of diamonds, a girl's other best friend.

Thumbing through Warhol's fun collection of drawings and quotes in Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, got me thinking about Spring, and how on earth to dress my feet this season, and then I came up with:
Top 10 Shoe Trends for Spring

By wearing something subdued and having this pewter shoe be the focal point, I'd have to say congratulations, you've just stepped into the future of fashion. Pixiemarket, $122.

The Neon Flat: Don't these just brighten up your day? It's super cute, flirty, and a great addition to skinnies, ruffly skirts, highwaisted shorts, and spring/summer frocks.

The Wooden Platform: The natural element of wood is very grounding to all of your Spring wardrobe. The earthy tone complements the flowers blooming around you, and the colorful suede takes it up a notch. with a tulip or pencil skirt. Urban Outfitters, $79.99.
